Sanlam Cape Town Marathon 2022

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. 

In July 2022, we were contacted by King James to create a roll-out for Sanlam’s 2022 Marathon. The task of the campaign was to get runners and supporters excited about the marathon, and for them to participate and engage with Sanlam Cape Town Marathon.

We were tasked to make a 3D fabric ribbon that moves around the key characters in every shot. Using the fabric buff design, we made the ribbon dance and swirl around each character as it goes by. It was a fun challenge and we’re happy with how it turned out!

The buff design was utilised as a powerful representation of African pride and served to unite all African champions, including both runners and supporters, in a common bond.

Our team produced a variety of content to enhance Sanlam Marathon’s social media presence across popular platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. In addition to this, we have also created banners and squeeze backs to promote the brand.
