As soon as we saw the brief we knew that this project had fun written all over it. We were commissioned to produce an advert to for broadcast on DSTV promoting the “Graca Comedy Showdown”. The idea: to deliver all of the information about when and when the shows would be taking place countrywide while still giving the audience something to laugh about at the same time.
“Wacky”, “Eccentric” and “Crazy” were our keywords – which of course comes naturally to our team and immediately the warped yet wonderful collective consciousness that is Lucidstate gave birth to a host of vibrant and quirky characters to enliven the Graca stage.
